Why one more conference?
Welcome to CCMN Youth Workers' Summit 2008. This is NOT just another conference. This is a place for you, you, you and me to dream together, to stimulate one another and to learn from each other. This is a gathering about motivating and preparing our generation to be the Salt and the Light of the world. It is about Mission, both local and abroad. It is about reaching out to youth, and beyond.

What do we do in this Summit?
This is our 5th Youth Workers' Summit. The 1st was 2003 in South Korea. Many of those came to the 1st are now going to 2 to 3 big steps forward in their personal lives, vision, passion and their ministries. We are all growing. I believe Vision and Passion are the drives inside that can give us the force to move ahead regardless the overwhelming challenges we are facing every day. Youth Workers' Summit provides a network and platform where you can touch the vision and passion of God's future leaders from many different countries, I believe we will have more blessing because of your coming this year. Stories and Strategies Sharing are always most inspiring and the best gift to take home as your souvenir to your country.

Who should come?
This is a gathering for all Youth Workers, Leaders and Potential Leaders. The NETWORK built will extend across different cultures and nations. We had the privilege to have Youth Leaders and missionaries from Indonesia, Taiwan, Macau and China joining our summer youth camp in 2006 and we were so much blessed and inspired. A new informal youth network is being formed in Japan after the summit 2006 in Thailand. A musicians' network is getting strong and more influential in Hong Kong and they are facilitating musicians ministering in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Church planters are inspired by the NETWORK and released to try planting new churches without wall in Hong Kong. More coaches are more connected with youth groups and we are so happy to see more people are becoming the way which “Moses blessing Joshua” with their covering, love and strategy.

Dear CCMN Family,

Yeah! It is time to remind you to register to come to the CCMN Global Summit for this year. This time it will be in Hong Kong again! Welcome to the Pearl of the Orient! WE are very excited to host you all in this year of the Olympics!

It has been 2 years since our last summit – we have been having Regional Summits over the last 12 months. It would be great to hear reports of how they have went. We had Latin American Summit; Brazilian Youth Summits; East Asian Summit; Taiwan Summit; Hong Kong Summit; Australian Summit; European Summits and Indian Summit – I think the summits for the rest of the regions did not eventuate. Maybe we will be encouraged by what is happening to have more regional summits in the future. Well, it is great to meet the family again after 2 years! I am sure we have missed each other! Much have happened in the last 2 years and it is good to catch up.

There will be many exciting things that will be happening at this summit besides seeing and connecting with one another again! As you all know, the world has not been the same since 2 years ago – there has been so many crises in the last 2 years. If we said 2 years ago in Thailand that “Time is Running Out” – it is even more now – the world is coming to a crisis point. At the same time, there is a new openness in the world today. Let’s come and join hands and see the job done in the name of our Lord!

In light of this, one of the themes this time will be “multiplication” – we need to seriously look at how can we more effectively see multiplication rather than addition. Jim Yost will be running training on Church Planting Movement: A More Practical Approach during the afternoons of the Summit. There will also be a host of other sharing at this Summit – come and find out. I will keep you in touch with more news as the summit approaches.
