Introducing CCMN
Submitted by Admin on Sun, 18/07/2010 - 17:20The Cell Church Missions Network came into being in Hong Kong around about 1997, actually as the missions arm of the then newly developing Hong Kong Cell Church Network. This network of churches from various denominations were sharing resources, working together in training and outreach… and beginning both short term and long term mission involvement together.
In 1998, Ben Wong, pastor of Shepherd Community Grace Church and one of the key leaders in the Hong Kong Cell Church Network, felt prompted by God to call together cell church pastors and leaders from the Asia-Pacific region for a "Praying and Dreaming Summit". This was to be a gathering of leaders which had no agenda, no invited speakers… simply an opportunity for leaders to get to know each other, share their dreams, and pray together to see how God might want them to work together.
